أستقبل قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في كلية الهندسة جامعة النهرين المتمثل بالسيدة رئيس قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي الأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة أنس قصي هاشم ومجموعة من تدريسي القسم الدكتورة سمر علي جابر والدكتورة صفا ليث كيلان والدكتور محمود حميد مجيد والدكتورة ريم شاكر محمود والدكتورة نور علي صادق وم.م.حمزة عباس فاضل وم.م.زيد مصطفى خضير م.م. احمد لطيف خدارحم وم.م.دعاء نوفل حازم وم.م.نور باسم خلف ومهندس اقدم نادية احمد محمد والمهندسة هدير مؤيد محمد  والمهندسة مينا ثامر ابراهيم والفني عضيد علوان وفداً من قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في جامعة البيان وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي وتبادل الخبرات العلمية وقد تضمنت الزيارة جولة في القسم العلمي والقاعات الدراسية والمختبرات التعليمية وقد تم تقديم شرحاً مفصلاً عن تاريخ القسم وبرامجه الأكاديمية والبحثية، بالإضافة إلى الاطلاع على المختبرات الحديثة وأجهزة الفحص والتجارب التي تخدم الطلبة والباحثين.

هدفت هذه الزيارة إلى:

- الاطلاع على المناهج الدراسية وآليات التدريس المتبعة.

- تبادل الآراء حول تطوير البرامج الأكاديمية بما يتناسب مع سوق العمل.

- تعزيز العلاقات العلمية والبحثية بين الجامعتين.

- بحث سبل التعاون المشترك في إقامة ورش العمل والندوات العلمية.

- تطوير الخبرات العملية لطلبة وأساتذة قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في جامعة البيان.

- تبادل المعرفة حول آلية إدارة المختبرات واستخدام التقنيات الحديثة في التعليم.

- تعزيز فرص التعاون البحثي المشترك بين الطرفين.

كما تم من خلال الزيارة الاطلاع على أهم المختبرات المتخصصة التي يمتلكها القسم، والتي تشمل:

- مختبر الميكانيك الأحيائي.

- مختبر الأجهزة الطبية.

- مختبر الحاسبات.

- مختبر التشريح والفسلجة.

- مختبر الدوائر الكهربائية.

- مختبر الأنسجة.

- مختبر المواد الحيوية.

وقد قام الكادر التدريسي والفني بأعطاء نبذة شاملة عن طبيعة الأجهزة المستخدمة، وآليات إجراء التجارب العملية، بالإضافة إلى التعرف على التطبيقات العملية المرتبطة بالمقررات الدراسية.

وفي ختام الزيارة، أعرب وفد جامعة البيان عن شكره وتقديره لحسن الاستقبال والضيافة، مؤكداً أهمية استمرار مثل هذه الزيارات لما لها من أثر إيجابي في تطوير العملية التعليمية والبحثية. وكذلك قد أبدى الوفد الزائر إعجابه بالمستوى المتقدم للمختبرات، مشيدين بجهود القسم العلمي في توفير بيئة علمية متطورة تسهم في رفد الطلبة بالمهارات العملية اللازمة.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, represented by the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim, along with a group of faculty members — Dr. Samar Ali Jaber, Dr. Safa Laith Keilan, Dr. Mahmoud Hamid Majid, Dr. Reem Shaker Mahmoud, Dr. Noor Ali Sadiq, Assistant Lecturer Hamza Abbas Fadel, Assistant Lecturer Zaid Mustafa Khudair, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Lateef Khudair Rahim, Assistant Lecturer Doaa Noufal Hazem, Assistant Lecturer Noor Basim Khalaf, Senior Engineer Nadia Ahmed Mohammed, Engineer Hadeer Moayad Mohammed, Engineer Mina Thamer Ibrahim, and Technician Atheed Alwan — welcomed a delegation from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Al-Bayan University, as part of efforts to strengthen academic collaboration and exchange scientific expertise.

The visit included a tour of the department’s scientific facilities, classrooms, and educational laboratories, where a detailed explanation was provided about the department's history, academic programs, and research activities. The delegation was also introduced to the modern laboratories and testing equipment that serve students and researchers.

The objectives of the visit were to:

• Review the curricula and teaching methods adopted by the department.

• Exchange ideas on the development of academic programs to align with job market requirements.

• Strengthen scientific and research relations between the two universities.

• Explore opportunities for joint workshops and scientific seminars.

• Enhance the practical experience of students and faculty at Al-Bayan University's Department of Biomedical Engineering.

• Share knowledge about laboratory management and the use of modern technologies in education.

• Promote opportunities for joint research cooperation between the two sides.

During the visit, the delegation toured key specialized laboratories, including:

• Biomechanics Laboratory

• Medical Devices Laboratory

• Computer Laboratory

• Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory

• Electrical Circuits Laboratory

• Tissue Laboratory

• Biomaterials Laboratory

The teaching and technical staff provided a comprehensive overview of the equipment used, the mechanisms for conducting practical experiments, and the practical applications related to the academic curricula.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation from Al-Bayan University expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality, emphasizing the importance of continuing such visits due to their positive impact on enhancing educational and research processes.
The visiting delegation also expressed admiration for the advanced level of the laboratories and praised the department’s efforts in providing a sophisticated scientific environment that helps equip students with essential practical skills.
