شارك مجموعة من طلبة قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي-كلية الهندسة-جامعة النهرين في الحفل المركزي لتخرج طلبة الجامعات العراقية والذي سيُقام برعاية العتبة العباسية المقدسة في محافظة كربلاء المقدسة بتاريخ 27/3/2025. وذلك في إطار حرص جامعة النهرين على دعم وتشجيع الطلبة المتميزين وتمثيل الجامعة في المحافل الوطنية. ويُعد هذا الحفل من أبرز الفعاليات السنوية التي تنظمها الأمانة العامة للعتبة العباسية المقدسة، بالتنسيق مع ديوان الوقف الشيعي، ويهدف إلى الاحتفاء بخريجي الجامعات العراقية من مختلف التخصصات، وتكريم جهودهم العلمية خلال مسيرتهم الجامعية، بالإضافة إلى تعزيز أواصر التواصل بين الطلبة والجامعات العراقية وبين المؤسسات الدينية والوطنية. وقد جاء ترشيح طلبة قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي نظراً لما يتمتعون به من مستوى أكاديمي متميز والتزام علمي يعكس صورة مشرّفة عن الجامعة والقسم، مما يؤكد الدور الفاعل لطلبة القسم في تمثيل جامعتهم في مختلف المحافل. ومن المؤمل أن يشهد الحفل حضوراً واسعاً من الشخصيات الأكاديمية والدينية، ومشاركة عدد من الجامعات العراقية، ليكون مناسبة وطنية تعزز من قيمة العلم وتُبرز الإنجازات الطلابية على مستوى الوطن.

A group of students from the Department of Biomedical Engineering – College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University participated in the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students, held under the patronage of the Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine in the Holy City of Karbala on July 27, 2025.
This participation comes as part of Al-Nahrain University's commitment to supporting and encouraging outstanding students and representing the university in national events.

This ceremony is considered one of the most prominent annual events organized by the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine, in coordination with the Shiite Endowment Office. It aims to celebrate the graduates of Iraqi universities across various disciplines, honor their academic efforts throughout their university journey, and strengthen the ties between students, Iraqi universities, and religious and national institutions.

The nomination of the Department of Biomedical Engineering students was based on their distinguished academic level and scientific commitment, which reflect an honorable image of the university and the department, further emphasizing the active role of the department’s students in representing their university in various forums.

The ceremony is expected to witness broad attendance from academic and religious figures, with the participation of several Iraqi universities, making it a national occasion that highlights the value of education and showcases students' achievements on a national level.
