As part of the general efforts of the College of Engineering and specifically the Department of Mechanical Engineering to implement and expand the experience of blended learning, and in line with fulfilling the requirements for program accreditation, a delegation of fourth-year students from Al-Nahrain University’s College of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, conducted a scientific visit to Loft Engineering Company at the Burouj Residential Complex. The visit aimed to provide a distinguished scientific experience within the complex, which is considered one of the prominent sites in the capital, Baghdad.

During the visit, the team was introduced to the modern mechanical, electrical, and service equipment and technologies used in residential complexes, especially with the country’s urban development and the introduction of the latest technologies into practical application. The visit included an intensive lecture on safety techniques that engineers must adopt after graduation and entering the job market, along with a detailed explanation of air conditioning systems, ventilation systems, and fire-fighting systems.

The visit aimed to offer a unique opportunity to familiarize students with the latest technologies and practices in this field. The supervising team included Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Sabri Abbas, Assistant Professor Insam Adel Mohammed, PhD Lecturer Noor Yahya Abbas, Assistant Lecturer Hind Diaa Reda, and Assistant Lecturer Suha Kareem Jabbar. The atmosphere during the visit was filled with specialized scientific discussions about the equipment and devices used in the complex's buildings.
