College of Engineering Organizes Workshop on Registration Procedures for Huawei ICT Academy

In the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, and the Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Israa Badr Nasser, the Computer Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, organized a scientific workshop on the registration procedures for the Huawei Information and Communication Technology Academy (Huawei ICT Academy). The workshop was delivered by Ms. Rand Safou, representing Huawei China.

The workshop introduced the Huawei ICT Academy program and highlighted its importance in developing students’ technical skills and bridging academic education with the requirements of the labor market. It also covered the procedures for creating an account and registering on the platform, as well as the steps required to enroll in the training courses and technical learning pathways offered by the Academy.

The workshop also included a practical explanation of how to access and benefit from the available educational resources and training courses, in addition to introducing Huawei’s professional certification programs in various fields of information and communication technologies. The Academy provides students with access to specialized technical training and encourages them to obtain Huawei professional certifications.

The workshop witnessed active participation from students and faculty members of the Computer Engineering Department, the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering Department, and the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department. Their participation contributed to enriching the discussions and raising questions regarding registration procedures, training courses, technical pathways, and the professional certifications offered by the Academy.

This workshop reflects the Computer Engineering Department’s commitment to enhancing students’ digital and technical skills, expanding opportunities for professional training and development, and strengthening cooperation between academic institutions and the technology sector. These efforts contribute to preparing qualified engineering professionals capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in communications, information technology, and artificial intelligence.
