Students of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, have commenced their 2025–2026 Summer Training Program at a number of specialized prosthetics and orthotics centers and institutions, as part of the department’s academic program requirements.

The training program aims to enhance students’ practical skills by familiarizing them with the various stages of prosthetic and orthotic fabrication and fitting, as well as the workflow in specialized workshops and laboratories. It also bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, improving students’ readiness for the labor market. Furthermore, the program provides valuable opportunities to gain professional experience, develop communication and teamwork skills, and prepare competent engineers with strong academic and practical capabilities.
