An introductory lecture on Graduation Outcomes (GO) and their importance in developing academic programs was held at the Council of the Department of Chemical Engineering on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Venus Majid Hameed, Head of the Department, who presented the concept of graduation outcomes and their role in evaluating educational program outputs and measuring the extent to which students achieve academic objectives. The lecture also addressed the requirements of program accreditation and the mechanisms for its implementation in alignment with recognized academic standards to ensure the quality of education. The lecture aimed to enhance faculty members’ understanding of quality assurance and academic accreditation concepts, contributing to the development of the educational process and improving the level of the department’s outcomes.
