The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University participated in the chess tournament through the student Ali Hamil Hassan, who competed alongside students from other departments of the College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University and achieved second place.

The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Haitham Alaa Hussein, on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, at the Sports Hall of the College of Engineering.
