The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Holds a Skills Development Lecture Entitled “Erasmus Mundus Program for Master's Studies in European Union Universities”

As part of the scientific activities of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at the College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, a Skills Development Lecture was held on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Dijla Hall, entitled:
“Erasmus Mundus Program for Master's Studies in European Union Universities.”

The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ammar Issam Salih, who highlighted the importance of international academic programs in enhancing students’ educational pathways. The presentation shed light on the study opportunities offered by the Erasmus Mundus program in various European universities, the requirements for application, and the general mechanisms for selecting applicants, in addition to the academic and cultural benefits gained by participants in such programs.

The lecture also included an explanation of the electronic application procedures and provided practical guidance to help students prepare their application files properly in alignment with the requirements of the available scholarships.

The event witnessed the attendance of several students and faculty members who expressed great interest and engagement, emphasizing the importance of such activities in raising students’ awareness of international educational programs and enhancing their prospects for pursuing postgraduate studies at globally recognized universities.
