As part of the collaboration between academic institutions and national technology companies, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University hosted today, Sunday, November 2, 2025, a delegation from Al-Naba Company, specialized in smart technologies and robotic systems.

The company presented a field demonstration of a humanoid robot controlled remotely, during which the company’s technical team provided a detailed explanation of the robot’s operating mechanism, electronic and software components, and its potential use in educational and engineering applications.

The event witnessed active engagement from the department’s students, who participated in discussions and took photos with the robot in an interactive scientific atmosphere that contributed to bridging theoretical learning with practical application and enhancing students’ skills in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics.

A number of the department’s faculty members also attended the activity, praising the initiative and emphasizing the importance of such visits in introducing students to modern technologies and encouraging innovation and practical application within an inspiring academic environment.

This visit comes as part of the vision of Al-Nahrain University and the College of Engineering to strengthen partnerships with public and private sector institutions, opening new horizons for students to explore the latest technologies in the fields of smart systems and robotics.
