Fourth-year students in the Computer Engineering Department participate in the Career and Graduation Projects Fair at the College of Engineering, Nahrain University


On Sunday, May 25, 2025, fourth-year students in the Computer Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Nahrain University, participated in the Career and Graduation Projects Fair, which was held in the college halls with broad participation from various engineering departments.


They are: Adhraa Hassan Aneed Atheeb - A remotely controlled smart door-lock system

Karrar Amer Alwan Hamid -Design and control of a 2 DOF robotic rehabilitation for wrist joint

Yousef Abdul Karim Abbas Dawood -Design and implementation of a smart CNC plotter machine using an Arduino microcontroller

Ashraf Haider Talib Abbas - Design of Advanced Visible Light Communication (VLC) for Secure IoT Applications

Moamel Hamed Abdul Nabi Finjan- Al-Nahrain University Tour Guide Mobile Application

Ali Waleed Abbas Hussein- Task Management Web Application

Nour Ayad Abdullah Majeed- Design and implementation of a social media platform for students' skills and hobbies

Dhu al-Fiqar Ali Abdul Hussein Karim- Design and implementation of a Library Management System


The students presented their graduation projects, which varied between Internet of Things applications and smart systems. These projects reflected the students' level of creativity and innovation, as well as the projects' relevance to realistic solutions that meet the needs of society and the labor market. The exhibition was attended by a number of companies and institutions specializing in information technology and engineering, providing students with the opportunity to engage directly with the job market, showcase their technical skills, and discuss their projects with specialists.
