Assistant Lecturer Duaa Diaa Ibrahim participated with a research paper entitled: The conference, which was held over two days (15–16 December), aimed to discuss the current situation of Iraq in light of the geopolitical conflicts taking place in the Middle East. It focused on highlighting the political, security, and economic challenges facing the Iraqi state amid rapid regional and international developments, in addition to analyzing the roles of regional and international actors and their implications for the security and stability of the region. The conference included a number of scientific sessions and research papers addressing various themes, including power balances in the Middle East, the impact of regional conflicts on Iraq’s national security, and the future of Iraqi foreign policy. It also presented analytical perspectives and strategic insights that contribute to supporting scientific research and enhancing the role of research centers in the study of contemporary strategic issues.
