شارك قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في كلية الهندسة – جامعة النهرين، وبرعاية كريمة من السيد عميد كلية الهندسة الأستاذ الدكتور إياد مراد طخاخ المحترم، في معرض الاستثمار وريادة الأعمال الذي نظمته دائرة البحث والتطوير في وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، والمقام في رحاب جامعة البيان، وبالشراكة بين جامعة النهرين والجامعة العراقية. وقد انطلقت فعاليات المعرض صباح يوم الأربعاء الموافق 3/12/2025، واستمرت على مدى يومين.

وجاءت مشاركة القسم من خلال الحضور والتنظيم من قبل نخبة من أساتذة القسم، وهم الأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة أسيل محمد علي حسين، والدكتورة سمر علي جابر، والدكتورة منى كريم مصطفى، وبمشاركة مجموعة من الطلبة المتميزين الذين عرضوا مشروعاتهم الريادية أمام زوار المعرض والجهات المشاركة.

وفي إطار هذه المشاركة، شهد المعرض حضورًا فاعلًا عكس أهمية دعم الابتكار وتعزيز ثقافة ريادة الأعمال، ولاسيما في مجال تحويل الأفكار الهندسية إلى مشروعات قابلة للتطبيق العملي. وقد تميّزت المشاركات بطرح حلول تطبيقية مبتكرة عالجت احتياجات صناعية وصحية معاصرة، بما يسهم في ربط الجانب الأكاديمي بمتطلبات سوق العمل.

كما تضمنت المشاركة عرض بوسترات علمية صُممت باحترافية عالية، استعرضت بصورة موجزة وواضحة أهداف المشروعات، وآليات وخطوات تنفيذها، إلى جانب أبرز النتائج المتحققة، مما أسهم في إيصال الأفكار بأسلوب منهجي وعلمي، وعكس مستوى الإبداع والتميز لدى المشاركين.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University, under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, participated in the Investment and Entrepreneurship Exhibition organized by the Research and Development Directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The exhibition was held at Al-Bayan University in partnership with Al-Nahrain University and Al-Iraqi University. The event commenced on Wednesday morning, December 3, 2025, and continued for two days.

The department’s participation was represented through attendance and organization by a group of faculty members, namely Assistant Professor Dr. Aseel Mohammed Ali Hussein, Dr. Samar Ali Jaber, and Dr. Mona Karim Mustafa, along with a group of outstanding students who showcased their entrepreneurial projects to exhibition visitors and participating institutions.

As part of the participation in the Investment and Entrepreneurship Exhibition, the event witnessed active engagement reflecting the importance of supporting innovation and promoting an entrepreneurial culture, particularly in transforming engineering ideas into practically applicable projects. The presented works were distinguished by innovative, application-oriented solutions that addressed contemporary industrial and healthcare needs, thereby contributing to bridging the gap between academia and labor market requirements.

The participation also included the presentation of professionally designed scientific posters that clearly and concisely highlighted the project objectives, implementation mechanisms and steps, as well as the key achieved results. This contributed to the effective communication of ideas in a systematic and scientific manner and reflected the high level of creativity and excellence of the participants.
