شارك قسم هندسة الطب الحياتي في كلية الهندسة-جامعة النهرين في بطولة الشطرنج وذلك من خلال مشاركة الطالب (علي هامل حسن) مع طلبة أقسام كلية الهندسة في جامعة النهرين وحصوله على المرتبة الثانية ،وبرعاية وبحضور السيد عميد كلية الهندسة الأستاذ الدكتور إياد مراد  طخاخ المحترم، والسيد معاون للشؤون الإدارية الأستاذ الدكتور هيثم علاء حسين ، وذلك يوم الاربعاء الموافق 3/ 12 / 2025 ، في القاعة الرياضية في كلية الهندسة.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University participated in the chess tournament through the student Ali Hamil Hassan, who competed alongside students from other departments of the College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University and achieved second place.

The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Iyad Murad Takhakh, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Haitham Alaa Hussein, on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, at the Sports Hall of the College of Engineering.
