The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering – Al-Nahrain University organized the first discussion sessions for the 2025–2026 academic year for master’s students, with the attendance of research supervisors and several faculty members from the department.

These sessions aim to enhance the students’ research skills, discuss the progress of their research projects, and exchange scientific feedback that contributes to developing the research work in line with academic quality standards.

The sessions included student presentations outlining their research plans, followed by open discussions between supervisors and students to define work paths and address research challenges. The importance of these sessions in building the capabilities of new researchers, reinforcing rigorous scientific methodology, and motivating students to innovate in the field of biomedical engineering was also emphasized.

These activities come as part of the department’s vision to support students and provide an appropriate academic environment that helps them complete their scientific projects according to the highest standards.
